How to Shrink Your Element Leather
Each Trayvax Element wallet is made with real leather. Over time the leather can stretch and if you take a couple cards out, the wallet may not close like it used to. You may notice the strap working its way off of the post on the wallet once that happens, this can be remedied by shrinking the leather on the wallet. If you would like to shrink your leather to fit less cards, you can do that following these steps below.
To shrink your Trayvax Element, follow these easy steps:
- Place lukewarm water into a bowl. Do not use hot or boiling water as this will cause undesirable results.
- Submerge your Element underwater for 10 minutes
- Take your Element out of the water
- Latch it closed and let it dry while completely empty
It may take several hours for your Element to dry and fully mold to fit. Once the process is complete, your Element will be fully molded and easy to use.
Depending on how hot the water is, the leather color may lighten during the soaking process. The leather will darken with use.
